      Martin H. Reitz was born in Grantsburg, Wisconsin. He attended St. Paul Vocational School (now St. Paul Technical College) and was a member of the school's first graduating class. Reitz worked for Lampland Lumber Co. (1923-1945) and began the Donnay-Reitz Construction Co. after World War II to construct houses in the St. Paul area for returning soldiers. He later started the Home Plan Book Co. Martin Reitz died in June 1991.
