Drawings and Watercolors of Architecture, 1928-1932
Richard Marsh Bennett was a Harvard-educated architect (S.B. 1928, M.Arch. 1931) who, in addition to a lengthy career (1947-1965) in practice with the Chicago firm of Loeb, Schlossman & Bennett, taught at Yale (1940-1943), and served as a Senior Fellow in Architecture (1975-1979) and as a Senior Fellow in design (1979-1984) at the the GSD. The collection includes watercolor drawings produced as a Julia Amory Appleton Travelling Fellow, as well as photographs and drawings made during earlier European trips. Gift of Richard M. Bennett, 1980, 1983
