      David L. Stine joined the AIA in October 1884, and was elected to Fellowship in January 1885. Both actions are documented in the board minutes. His membership lapsed in 1905. He rejoined in 1920. His membership file includes the cover letter applying for Fellowship, but not the original 1880s applications for either membership or Fellowship; correspondence and application for rejoining in 1920; and request for emeritus (retired) status.
