Jessen and Jessen was organized by Harold Everett "Bubi" Jessen and his brother Worl Jessen in 1938. After Wolf Jessen's return from military service during World War II, the Jessens formed a partnership with Charles Millhouse and Alton Greeven in 1946 and became Jessen Jessen Millhouse and Greeven. In 1969 the firm became Jessen Jessen Millhouse Greeven Crume Day and Newman, and Jessen, Inc. in 1971.
