Harry Barton was born in 1876 and died in 1937. He an important North Carolina architect based in Greensboro. Barton worked in the Tudor Revival style for several residential designs. He also designed many educational and civic buildings in Georgian Revival and Neoclassical styles, including buildings on the campus of the Unversity of North Carolina-Greensboro.
