Membership file includes membership application, correspondence concerning retirement status, correspondence concerning death, and memorials. Materials not yet scanned include correspondence during Pond's term as AIA President regarding proposed bylaws amendments, the AIA policy on competitions, candidate for Gold Medal, and the 1911 AIA convention in San Francisco; and correspondence from the period 1911-1914 re Burnham's resignation, Pond's appointment to various Board committees, bylaws amendments, election of new Fellows. There may be additional letters in the pre-1908 unindexed General Correspondence files. Pond was one of 16 U.S. delegates to the Ninth International Congress of Architects held in Rome in 1911.
