Records of the office of Baton Rouge architect A. Hays Town (1903-2005). Included is one set of drawings from predecessor office, Overstreet and Town (Noah Webster Overstreet, 1898-1976) of Jackson, Mississippi (partnership active 1931-1939). Also included is a brochure of Town's work and a publication showing sketches Town made in Europe in 1977. Drawings are all cataloged by job. During the earlier part of his career, Town designed a number of important public buildings in the International style including East Baton Rouge Airport and Iberia Parish Courthouse, both in Louisiana.
