Records of the New Orleans architectural office Freret and Wolf (Douglass Vincent Freret, 1903-1973; Albert Jacob Wolf, Jr., 1914-2004), which operated from 1946 through 1980. Also included are records from predecessor office of Douglass V. Freret, operative from 1934 through 1946. Included are project drawings, specifications and photographs. Drawings and specifications are cataloged by project. Freret and Wolf was an important firm in New Orleans, executing projects such as the Sara Mayo Hospital, the main branch of the U.S. Post Office, and the Southern Yacht Club.
