      Maurice Francis Maine was born on February 6, 1881 in Rockland, Maine. He came to Minneapolis in 1900 and was educated at Hamline University (St. Paul) and art schools in the Twin Cities area. He formed a partnership with William Kenyon in 1913. Maurice Maine died on September 10, 1950.
