Membership file contains membership application, chapter transfers, notification of Fellowship, photo, and application for emeritus (retired) status. His Fellowship nomination is not in the Archives; in the mid-1970s, submissions were usually returned to the nominees after the jury made their decision. The introductory sentence for each new Fellow at the investiture ceremony gives some indication of what accomplishments were the basis of elevation to Fellowship.
