      Membership file contains membership application, termination, rejoin. The AIA did not keep records of unsuccessful applicants, so we have no definite information about why the New Jersey/Hudson County Chapter did not accept him as a member in 1957. The phrase "without prejudice" means that the chapter did not turn him down for reasons of unethical behavior, and he was welcome to apply again. Not yet being licensed or having what the chapter considered insufficient experience as an architect (rather than a draftsman) were the usual reasons that chapters turned down applicants "without prejudice." Such judgements by the chapters were of course subjective. After rejoining in 1991, he transferred from the Virgin Islands Chapter to the Fort Lauderdale Chapter in 2000, with a firm address of PF Lopez Associates, in Miramar, Florida.
