Membership file includes application and membership correspondence, Fellowship nomination and supporting letters. Coit received a Langley Scholarship from the AIA for two successive years, 1937-38 and 1938-39, to study low-cost housing, and her Langley applications are in the AIA Archives. For a description of the Edward Langley Scholarships and announcements of the recipients for 1936, 1937, and 1938, see these pages from The Octagon, the AIA's magazine. Her findings were published as a two-part report in The Octagon in October and November 1941.
