The AIA Membership files contain his membership application. The drawings that he submitted with his application would have been returned to him at the time. His death is noted in the AIA's 1900 Proceedings as follows: "Was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 1894. Died during 1900." Evidently the AIA did not receive any detailed obituary information from the chapter, nor even a date of death.
